  • "My wife and I attended a business conference and stayed at Hotel Storyville. The location was convenient to the Palm Court Jazz Cafe where we had dinner and we were able to walk to the restaurant. The location is convenient to the French Quarter. The host was accommodating. Esplanade is a moderately busy street, but the room was quiet. We stayed on a Thursday. There’s also a garden/patio behind the hotel where I enjoyed a cigar after dinner. The hotel is in more of a neighborhood than a business district. Someone was practicing their saxophone in a nearby house as we were sitting in the garden area and there was a nice ambiance. The rooms aren’t high-end, but I thought it was fair for the price."

  • Great place. The owner is incredibly friendly, but gives guests their space. Located on a quiet block within easy walking distance of the French quarter. The back yard is a very nice feature and the two bedroom apt was nice with all standard amenities. Stayed May 2011
